Walter stayed out of work because he took Willy Harris' car out for drives. Walter wanted to experience the feeling of freedom that he wanted so much. He also skipped three days of work just to make himself feel better and to dream about his dreams coming true. During one of his adventures alone, he came upon some musicians that were the same race as himself and he believes that he can be just as successful as them if he tries hard enough.
